Eliza Sam Appears Alarmingly Thin

Eliza Sam Appears Alarmingly Thin

At a Mongkok opening event, Eliza Sam (岑麗香) seemed to have lost her baby fat and appeared alarmingly thin. Her slender frame was further emphasized in her tube dress, which showcased her protruding collar bones.
Admitting that she indeed has lost weight recently, Eliza joked that she will have to eat more. “I’ve gotten a bit thinner, but it’s okay. I have been very busy with work lately.”
Eliza’s boyfriend, Joshuapermanently resides in Canada. Despite the difficulties of a long-distance relationship, the couple has been successful in sustaining their love. After several months of separation, Joshua will be visiting Eliza in Hong Kong at the end of this year. When teased about being caught canoodling in the hotel pool with Joshua this past summer, Eliza laughed and explained, “It was a little odd at first, but it’s not like we were doing anything. We were just playing in the water and swimming. What would I wear if not a bikini in the pool? Next time, I will wear a one-piece, but a one-piece can also be very sexy!”
On whether she will be more aware of her surroundings next time, Eliza said, “Actually, artistes are already very aware [due to the nature of the job], but during personal time, we were not doing anything unlawful or wrongful to anyone. We were just doing what normal people would do, so there’s no need to be overly worried.”

Why I Had A Secret Wedding & Never Shared Photos Of My Husband – Di’ja

Why I Had A Secret Wedding & Never Shared Photos Of My Husband – Di’ja

Mavin star, Hadiza Salma Blell widely known as Afro Di’ja spoke with LIB recently where she gave reasons why she had a secret wedding and why she never shares photos of Rotimi, her husband  on social media.

“It was very intimate and it was also in my home town, Kaduna, so it’s kind of hard to get people to come over there and then Kaduna is not as ‘Noisy’ as Lagos. So anything like that could be probably called low key. I just don’t translate them into being posted on my page. And I guess in the ‘Post it’ ‘Tweet it’ world; you almost kind of look abnormal if you don’t
But it’s not like am going out of my way not to, i guess it’s just not in my character to do it all the time, but i’m also getting better at my Instagram.  At least you see my baby and all other stuff, (laughs). So I always say there is difference between privacy and secrecy, it’s not something to hide. Again, i guess people forget that when you are in the entertainment industry, you also have to live a normal life. For instance, i wake up in the morning and i give my son a bath, and sometimes my mom will, and other times, it is a maid and an aunt that would help me with him. So don’t forget you have a real life too and you have people to answer to as well. Again you wake up and you have people that are depending on you, and people you pay for the work they do for you, you know as much as we have this entertainment life, and it’s amazing, i mean, God bless you all for liking us so much because it’s actually your love that has put us on the pedestal, but we also do these things and wake up with a regular life, so in that sense and sometimes because i could get carried away, that’s majorly the problem.

Heartbroken' Mshoza recounts Mandoza's final gift to her

Heartbroken' Mshoza recounts Mandoza's final gift to her

Musician Mshoza has revealed that late kwaito icon Mandoza called her just days before his death to tell her that he was dying and had left her a special gift.

"I shouted at him because he called me and said: 'I'm leaving you something, my queen. I just put a verse on your song. I'm leaving you something big, I hope you use it wisely'. I shouted at him. I said: 'You're leaving? Where to?' I swore at him because I thought he was joking," Mshoza revealed to TshisaLIVE recently.
Mandoza even requested that she join him at the Thank You SABC concert- the star's last public performance before his death.
"I asked him for the last time where he was going to? Is he moving out? Where was he was travelling to? They even made Mshoza T-shirts for the event but I told him that I would not be coming and I would see him on Monday at the studio. He tried to convince me but I didn't go," Mshoza said.
Holding back a tear, Mshoza revealed that Mandoza was one of her closest friends in the industry.
"The person I was closest to in the industry, after Lebo Mathosa died, was Mandoza. He was a man so we couldn't be that close but we spoke often and were close. I was so shocked and heartbroken when I heard (that he had died). We looked after each other," she said.
Taking a deep breath to compose herself, she recounted how Mandoza had phoned her office to tell her that he had put down a deposit on a new car but felt like God didn't want him to get it because he was going blind.
"I believe now that people can see when they are about to go. He knew it," Mshoza said.

My Husband Will Kneel & Also Cook For Me” – Actress, Arike Gold

My Husband Will Kneel & Also Cook For Me” – Actress, Arike Gold

Talented Nollywood actress, Folorunsho Adeola, popularly known as Arike Gold has opened up on her journey to fame amid others in a recent interview.

Tell us a little about your background.
I’m from a polygamous family. From my mum, we are six; three boys and three girls. I finished from a Catholic Comprehensive High School and then went to Moshood Abiola Polytechnic where I had OND in Mass Communication and later proceeded to University of Ibadan where I got my degree in Philosophy.
So, how did you find yourself in Nollywood, why did you choose acting?
Acting is what I love and have passion for it ever since I was a kid. I can remember a time when I told my mum about my intentions of going into movies and entertainment generally, she told me she can’t allow me to do such because of some negative things she has noticed or seen with people that are into acting.
I wasn’t pleased with her opinion and also felt bad. After a while, I had to talk to her that acting is what I really love and that I will make her proud of me.
She accepted and informed her friend, Actress Toyin Adegbola (Asewo to ré Mecca). She advised me to join any acting group close to me and that was when I joined Mr. Latin’s Acting Group in 2007, which was also the year I finished from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic.
How many movies have you featured in or produced by yourself?
I have featured in more than 30 movies so far. I’ve starred in movies like Ayonitemi, Olowolayemo, Baba Gomina, Orisun, Ipilese, Eri Oni to mention a few and I just recently concluded on a movie titled ‘IKE’, proudly produced by my humble self! The trailer will be out on my birthday this 22nd of November, 2016! Watch out for it!
So, aside Nollywood, what else are you into?
I do business but acting has really taken that from me of late. I’m working on going into food related business soon.
Is your production going to be on Yoruba movies alone and are you planning anything outside the shores of Nigeria soon?
Sure! Aside my just concluded movie, ‘IKE’, I’m working on a project that will embrace major actors around West Africa and Nigerian actors in diaspora. It is going to be a great one!
How do you relax?
I stay indoors most times. Other times, I go out to watch movies and also hangout with my friends.
Which male act will you say is your best actor so far and who you will love to work with both home and abroad?
My best actor so far is Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD) but I will love to work with Ramsey Noah and John Dumelo.
So, how will you describe your ideal man?
My ideal man must certainly be a creative and hardworking man because I hate poverty. He must also be God fearing; I don’t mean the ‘Scripture Union’ type but very romantic and handsome. The most important of it all is that he must be very understanding and patient. I can’t marry a man that cannot kneel to beg me when he offends me or cook for me to thrill me. He must be 100% Romantic!
Recently, you got featured in some major movies, newspapers and sites. How does it feel being a celebrity and how are you managing it?
Success is what everybody is praying for and as I’m doing my job well and great, results are coming, popularity; fame, recognition and a whole lot will set in. At that point, I have to appreciate the celebrity life. I also have to help others to attain greater heights while God helps me in return. These are what I wanted. Even though I am not where I want to be yet, I still thank God that I am not where I used to be! I Thank God for that!
A Nollywood actress and producer recently accused most married actresses of being promiscuous and not being able to thrive in the industry without extra marital affairs or ‘runz’ in local parlance. What is your take on this?
I don’t believe in that. When you are hardworking, creative, positive minded and you believe in anything you are doing, I am sure the sky will be only a starting point. I don’t believe all actresses are doing ‘runz’. I have said it before and I will still say it again: we spend more than what we earn to make a good movie.
As a producer of a new movie, how easy would you say it has been?
It’s not easy at all I must tell you, especially with running from Pre-production, shooting and locations stuffs plus Post-productions but to God be the glory. From the beginning I had put everything in God’s hand and He is in-charge till now.
And words to your fans and followers?
Yes, I want to thank you guys for supporting Arike Gold and praying for me. You all are the reason I wake up with smiles on my face; you are the ones that keep motivating me and I want you to know that I love you all and I appreciate your love for me.
You are all ‘my Arike Gold Soldiers’ and I must say thank you. And to guys out there willing to work at realising their dreams, I must say to you, don’t let anyone or anything quench your dreams! Keep pushing and pushing until you get to your rightful destinations. The only person that can stop you is you!

I Didn't Promise My Babymama Marriage; She'll Be The Only Mother Of My Kids - Timaya

Self acclaimed Egberi papa 1 of Bayelsa, Timaya has two lovely daughters from his baby mama, Barbara.

He has, in a new interview with Punch, revealed he didn't promise her marriage because it wasn't on his to-do list yet but that he assured her he wasn’t going to have kids from different women.

Timaya said:
“I am not getting married soon. My life is a journey. My career is my journey. I didn’t lie to my baby mama when she was pregnant; I told her I wasn’t ready to get married. I
never said I wasn’t going to get married. But at the moment, I am not ready. When she told me she was pregnant, I accepted the pregnancy. She told me she hoped I wasn’t going to be like other musicians who had kids from different women. I told her no. My two kids are from same woman. I know what I am doing.”

Gushing about his kids, Timaya added:
I never knew I could love anyone the way I love my daughters. My first daughter is my best friend. I didn’t know what I wanted when I had her. But I knew I wanted to rebrand. So I had to take off the dreadlock.”

“My dreadlock was a strategy. I wanted people to see me as a rude boy. I couldn’t have been giving all those trouble with a calm and clean face. I wanted a look that would associate with it.  Now, people come to me and I smile.

“I was happy I was controversial and I was being talked about. I used to struggle to be known before then and I desperately wanted to be known. Finally, they started talking about me. People felt I was troublesome. Some felt I was controversial. Even those who didn’t know my music knew my name. When I had got what I wanted, I felt it was time for me to rebrand.”

My Wife Has To Be Educated, Homely — Pasuma

My Wife Has To Be Educated, Homely — Pasuma

Celebrated fuji musician, Ajibola Odetola, aka Wasiu Alabi Pasuma,  talks about his career and other related matters
A lot of people say fuji music is street music and I know that you have done a lot to change that perception…
It’s not a new thing. People have always described fuji music as a genre for touts and that perception has existed for a long time. People called it street music, some others called it gutter music but I call it good music. I have not allowed it to affect me or my career.
People like KWAM1, tried to make people have a better understanding of fuji music. I would not say his efforts did not yield much because he did everything to ensure that fuji music becomes the kind of music everybody would love to be identified with.
On my own part, I mingled with hip- hop artistes who are considered the elite in the music industry. People believe they are the posh and educated among artistes. I infused hip-hop into fuji music. I have also worked with several hip-hop artistes. They feature me in their songs and I feature them in mine as well. So far, the reception has been good. Because of that, people now began to see fuji music in another light. Today, I can say that I am one of the artistes who have given a new meaning to fuji music.
Compared to other genres of music, why is fuji considered a  less-peaceful type of music?
In the past, people thought that only area boys listened to fuji music. Now, even people in the corporate sector listen to fuji. After work, you see them with their suits and ties, dancing to fuji music. That is how far the genre has come. It is no longer  a genre for illiterates; people with master’s and doctorate degrees attend our shows. In fact, because we now have well-educated people patronising us, there is a reduction in the number of area boys who appreciate fuji music.
Why is there rivalry among fuji artistes?
There is rivalry everywhere. You will find it among hip-hop artistes; for instance you will find rivalry between Wizkid and Davido. It is something that is bound to happen and you cannot run away from it. The reason why people think that rivalry is more pronounced among fuji artistes is because of the abusive words that make up the lyrics of our songs. In spite of all, I have done a lot of collaborations with other fuji artistes. Unless you do not want me on your album, I will cheerfully accept to work with you.

Can fuji artistes sing without using abusive and vulgar language?
Even though we are trying to change that aspect, it is also a marketing strategy. If an artiste hurls insults at you and you ignore him, people will not buy your album. It is when you reply him that people would rush to buy your album because they want to hear what you have to say. That has been  the tradition of the industry for a long time.
Slangs are also peculiar to your industry…
It is our way. I come up with slangs so that people would notice me. As a fuji artiste, you just have to be creative or else you would become irrelevant. You need people to talk about you and your music. These slangs have meanings and it is just a way of putting words in people’s mouths.
Why have you taken up several aliases since the start of your career?
In any business that you are involved in, you need to make people know that you are still relevant. In the past, I was known asArabambi and Otunba K1.    I am now known as Oganla and Ijoba of Fuji. I still use all of these names from time to time. The only one I no longer use is Arabambi because I am no longer with the group.Arabambi is a caucus founded by KWAM1. Even though he is somebody I respect, I do not belong to the caucus any longer. I created my own caucus.
Did you create your own caucus because you fell out with KWAM1?
KWAM 1 belonged to a caucus founded by the late Sikiru Ayinde Barrister.  He pulled out of that caucus in order to found his own. As you can see, my decision to pull out of KWAM1’s caucus, is not a sign of disrespect. He is still my senior colleague and he was already doing music before I joined the industry. I respect him a lot. What  I did was to create a caucus for my own people.
Do you do any other business apart from music?
No. The only thing I do that puts food on the table for my family and I is music.
How come Globacom dropped you as one of its ambassadors?
I was a Globacom ambassador for about six years. I started with them in 2008 and I was with them up until 2014.The company is in a better position to make known the reasons why I was dropped. As it is now, my contract with Glo has expired. I am no longer with them and any other company is free to endorse me.
Why have you decided to remain single?
I am not single. I have children out of wedlock. I am married to my children and I am happy with them. That does not erase the fact that I may decide to get married tomorrow.
What kind of woman are you interested in getting married to?
I want a woman who has the fear of the Lord. She has to be educated and homely. If I find a woman who has all these qualities and a few extras, you would be the first to know.
How come you like to date Yoruba actresses?
They are all my friends and we are in the same industry. That makes it easy for us to understand each other.
Does that mean you might end up marrying an actress?
I can’t tell. When the time comes, I will know and you will know.
Artistes have vices. Which is yours?
I don’t drink, I don’t smoke and I don’t womanise. I just do my thing and I love being in my house watching TV. I love sports and I am an Arsenal fan. That is the way I relax.

If you were not a musician, what would you have been?
My father wanted me to become a lawyer but because this is how God wanted it, I became a musician. I don’t regret doing music because it has made me popular. If I had become a lawyer, I don’t think I would have been this famous.
Are you interested in politics?
We only know today, we don’t know what is going to happen tomorrow. If I end up becoming a politician, I will shape the lives of Nigerians the way I have used my music to do  same.
How do you like to dress?
My mood determines the way I dress. If I wake up happy, I know what to wear and if I wake up feeling moody, I also know what to wear. I thank God that I have never woken up feeling sad.
